the reasons we bike and write about biking

hey di, I guess we should start off by telling people what this blog is about, why we started biking and why people should join in the revolution, yes?
I think we like biking because: 1) we enjoy the scenery, greenery, rockery, nature 2) cycling is for everyone, any age and athletic level. as long as you got 10 or more gears on your bike (to tackle those pesky hills), you can join in the fun (that we want you to), 3) the crazy fun folks we meet on the road & the stories we share (which we will document on this blog)… and what else, di?
as to why people should join us? 1) because we don’t really see enough of our friends and families. we never do.  bunch of reasons. we live far apart, kids’ school, our own school, season premier of the walking dead. so think of biking as a social gathering on wheels. 2) we all need to exercise but we don’t.  bunches of reasons. the above reasons + people at the gym are too loud + people at the gym are too quiet + I don’t have any time + I have a lot of time + my ankle hurt + I have to change clothes. so biking solves all that – it is the happy medium. you don’t barely have to wear clothes; just enough to cover this thang and that thang. if you don’t like people, you can bike away from them. ankles hurt? get off and eat a cookie. skin chafed? here’s some butt butter.  so really, no reason people shouldn't dist up that bike and join us. right, di?
